Job Description

We are seeking skilled Extruding, Forming, Pressing, and Compacting Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our innovative team. Successful candidates will work closely with our production team to ensure high-quality execution of machine operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruding and forming machinery and ensure their proper maintenance.
• Calibrate machines to meet production specifications.
• Monitor and adjust machine feeds and speeds to optimize production.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to analyze product defects and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in daily cleaning and readiness of machines for operation.
• Conduct routine checks and maintain logs for machine performance.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance to supervisors.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork and respect on the production floor.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Relevant training in metalworking or machine operation is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar manufacturing role

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Health and Safety: Valid certification in workplace health and safety procedures.
