Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be the guardian of software quality within our company. Located in Durban, you will be responsible for testing applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all software meets our high-quality standards. Ideal candidates should have a solid background in quality assurance coupled with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on the status of defects and improvements.
• Design and implement testing strategies for various software applications.
• Evaluate and improve test automation processes.
• Train and mentor junior QA staff as needed.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in QA or related field

Technical Skills

• Performance Testing
• API Testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with mobile application testing: Experience with testing mobile applications across platforms.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for test automation: Ability to write scripts for automated testing using Python or Java.
