Public Health Program Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Program Coordinator to spearhead our community health initiatives in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will bring experience in program management, community engagement, and public health strategies to enhance the well-being of our population.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of public health projects within the community.
• Build partnerships with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations.
• Conduct community needs assessments to identify health priorities.
• Develop promotional materials and campaigns to raise awareness of health programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in public health.
• Supervise and mentor program staff and interns.
• Evaluate program impacts and report on findings to stakeholders.
• Organize community health events and workshops to promote healthy behaviours.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or related area
• Master's degree in Public Health is a strong advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in health program coordination or relevant fields
