Job Description

Join our team in Durban as a Governance Analyst, where you'll be responsible for continuously assessing our compliance programs and providing insights to enhance operational efficacy. This role is integral in fostering a compliance-driven culture throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform compliance assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create training materials for staff on compliance policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in compliance committee meetings.
  • Support the head of compliance in strategic planning and implementation.
  • Review and update compliance documentation regularly.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulators during assessments.
  • Raise awareness of compliance requirements across the organization.
  • Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance.
  • Provide compliance updates to senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Compliance Management is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance or governance roles
