Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pierman to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing piers, docks, and other marine structures. This role requires a motivated individual with effective communication and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo from ships.
  • Utilize machinery and tools for completing construction tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Provide support to senior team members during project tasks.
  • Engage in ongoing training to develop skills in marine construction.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in carpentry or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine construction or a related field
