Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate pharmacist to join our team at Community Pharmacy in Pretoria. This role is key in managing medication therapies and providing health consultations to patients. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of pharmacology and a dedication to improving patient health.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the appropriateness of patients' medication regimens.
  • Develop and implement a medication therapy management program.
  • Educate patients about lifestyle modifications to improve health outcomes.
  • Provide consultations for chronic disease management.
  • Participate in clinical trials and pharmaceutical research.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and continuing education.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Additional qualifications in health sciences are advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a community pharmacy setting
