Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Financial Planner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating personalized financial strategies for clients, helping them reach their short and long-term financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' financial health and provide recommendations accordingly.
• Craft comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Advise clients on tax strategies and implications.
• Regularly review and update clients' financial plans to align with changing circumstances.
• Conduct educational workshops and seminars for clients on financial literacy.
• Actively seek opportunities for professional development and training.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Postgraduate degree in Financial Planning is an advantage

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a financial advisor or planner

Technical Skills

• Portfolio Management
• Retirement Planning

• Negotiation Skills
• Client-focused

Certifications

• Registered Financial Planner (RFP)
• CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) - Optional

Languages

• English: Fluent
