We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neurologist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and tests to assess neurological health.
• Create and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Engage with families to discuss diagnosis and treatment paths.
• Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on advancements in neurology and related fields.
• Plan and participate in neurology-focused workshops and seminars.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB
• Completed neurology residency
• Additional postgraduate qualifications in neurology or related fields are preferred

Experience

• 5 years' experience in clinical neurology or related fields

• Clinical diagnosis

Certifications

• Neurology Board Certification
• HPCSA Registered

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
