Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated doctor to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and a passion for patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in ongoing medical education.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
• Engage with patients and their families to foster a supportive environment.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical practices and apply them.
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
• Ensure the highest standards of care and patient safety are maintained.
• Mentor and train medical interns and junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical setting

• Clinical Diagnosis

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in specialty areas: Specialization in fields such as pediatrics, dermatology, or surgery is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR): Proficiency in using EMR systems for patient record management.
