Job Description

We are looking for a Public Health Analyst to contribute to various health research projects aimed at enhancing community health outcomes. The ideal candidate will analyze data, identify trends, and help develop impactful public health programs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze population health data to identify health disparities.
• Draft recommendations for health improvement strategies.
• Coordinate with external agencies for data sharing and collaboration.
• Develop indicators to measure the efficacy of health interventions.
• Conduct surveys and health assessments in local communities.
• Interpret and visualize data findings for various audiences.
• Contribute to health program evaluations and performance metrics.
• Provide training to staff on data collection methods and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Public Health or related field
• PhD preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in public health evaluation and analysis

Technical Skills

• Epidemiological Modeling
• GIS Tools

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
