Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Feedlot Manager who will oversee daily operations at our feedlot. Responsibilities include ensuring animal welfare, managing staff, and maintaining efficiency and productivity within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all feeding and care operations, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Monitor livestock health and implement veterinary care as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers for feed and equipment.
• Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
• Train and develop staff on operational procedures and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a feedlot or livestock environment

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
