Job Description

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population to provide counselling, crisis intervention, and resource connection. Your focus will be on empowering clients and advocating for their needs within the community framework.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' situations and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support to clients and their families.
• Maintain comprehensive case records and documentation.
• Educate clients about available resources and services in the community.
• Collaborate with local organizations to improve service delivery.
• Participate in case management meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and volunteers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social work or related field
