Job Description

We are seeking a detailed-oriented Payroll Operations Manager to oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for payroll operations, manage reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the payroll operations team, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Monitor changes in payroll legislation and implement updates in payroll practices.
  • Work closely with finance to ensure accurate financial reporting of payroll expenses.
  • Create and update payroll policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employee benefit deductions and garnishments.
  • Manage end-of-year payroll processes including tax filings and year-end reporting.
  • Conduct payroll data audits and implement corrective measures where necessary.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to payroll staff to enhance their capabilities.
  • Participate in payroll system selection and implementation projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Certification in Payroll Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll management or a similar role
