Job Description

The Extrusion Die Coordinator will oversee and manage the extrusion die production process. This role is pivotal in ensuring that production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and that the team is well-trained and motivated to perform effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor die production schedules for efficiency.
  • Ensure extrusion dies meet high quality and industry standards.
  • Direct training programmes for new production employees.
  • Evaluate the performance and efficiency of existing dies and processes.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule necessary repairs.
  • Manage die-related documentation and compliance records.
  • Identify areas for cost savings in die production and maintenance.
  • Engage with quality assurance teams to mitigate production risks.
  • Foster effective communication within the production team.
  • Lead improvement initiatives for productivity and quality.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in extrusion die design and production processes.
