Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Agronomist to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable agriculture and a deep understanding of crop management and soil health. You will work closely with farmers to develop tailored solutions that enhance productivity and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Support farmers in implementing precision farming practices.
• Evaluate and select suitable varieties for different environmental conditions.
• Conduct training sessions for farmers on new technologies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for project development.
• Facilitate workshops to educate on sustainability in agriculture.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders to promote agricultural initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant agricultural field
• Postgraduate degree in Agricultural Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in agronomy
