Job Description

We're on the lookout for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to supervise and enhance our supply chain operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics and procurement, with the ability to implement effective strategies that improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
• Manage inventory levels, minimizing excess stock.
• Coordinate with logistics providers for timely deliveries.
• Implement strategies to enhance supply chain visibility.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis on supply chain strategies.
• Ensure all operations follow safety and quality standards.
• Train staff on supply chain best practices and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles

• ERP Software

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Six Sigma Certification

Languages
