Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Legal Assistant to support our legal team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various administrative duties, ensuring smooth operations within the firm. You should have an understanding of legal terminology and be able to handle client communications professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain office records and databases.
  • Provide support in trial preparation and attend court sessions as required.
  • Conduct client interviews and take statements.
  • Assist in legal billing and invoicing processes.
  • Research case law and legal precedents.
  • Help manage office supplies and resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Legal Studies or equivalent qualification
  • Degree in Law is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of legal assistant experience
