Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in George. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing health services and implementing community health programs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to assess health needs and develop effective interventions to improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify public health needs in the community through surveys and data collection.
• Design and implement targeted health programs to address specific health concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance service delivery.
• Facilitate health workshops and training sessions for the community.
• Monitor and evaluate ongoing programs for continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present reports on health initiatives to stakeholders.
• Assist in securing funding for public health projects.
• Develop strategic partnerships with various health organizations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in public health programs or community outreach

• Xhosa: Proficient
