Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Specialist to join our team in George. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing health services and implementing community health programs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to assess health needs and develop effective interventions to improve health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community assessments and health surveys to identify priority health concerns.
• Create and implement educational materials to inform the community about health topics.
• Conduct training sessions for local healthcare providers on best practices.
• Facilitate community engagement events to raise awareness about public health.
• Compile and analyze health data for reporting and strategic planning.
• Advocate for community health needs at local and provincial levels.
• Coordinate efforts with local government and agencies to align health initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in public health programs or community outreach
