Job Description

As a Nurse at Healthcare Services Ltd., your primary focus will be to provide holistic care to patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure each patient receives comprehensive and empathetic care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and holistic care to patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care
• Implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on treatment options
• Ensure all nursing practices comply with legal and ethical standards
• Engage in professional development and training
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Foster a culture of empathy and patient-centered care
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council is mandatory

Experience

• 2+ years hospital experience preferred

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in critical care or emergency settings: Experience working in high-pressure environments is a plus.
• Fluency in Afrikaans: Being able to communicate with Afrikaans-speaking patients is an asset.
