Job Description

As an Agricultural Technician specializing in poultry farming, you will be tasked with visiting farms, providing technical support, and ensuring optimal farming practices. Your expertise will help farmers to increase their productivity and resolve any issues swiftly.

Responsibilities

  • Support farmers in diagnosing and resolving poultry management issues.
  • Offer hands-on training and demonstrations in poultry care and management.
  • Document all interactions and recommendations thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure comprehensive customer service.
  • Identify areas for improvement in poultry production processes.
  • Educate farmers about biosecurity and best animal welfare practices.
  • Assist with customer product trials and gather feedback.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Stay informed about competitor products and market changes.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal training in poultry science or animal science is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or similar role
