Job Description

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic Telephone Operators to join our customer service team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for offering directory assistance to callers, providing accurate information about businesses, organizations, and individuals, and ensuring outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from customers seeking directory assistance
• Provide information about businesses, organizations, and individuals, including addresses and phone numbers
• Transfer calls to the appropriate contact when necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date database of contacts
• Ensure a high level of customer service at all times
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and inquiries
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service delivery
• Utilize call center software to log calls and track resolutions

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a customer service or call center environment is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

• Computer operating systems

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
