Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Legal Advisor to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal guidance, ensuring compliance with South African laws and regulations while supporting our clients in various legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret legal documents, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
• Implement compliance programs and monitor adherence to legal standards.
• Manage inquiries and concerns related to legal matters from clients.
• Assist in the development of internal policies and procedures.
• Support the firm in maintaining its reputation and ethical standing.
• Prepare reports on legal activities and risks for management review.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a legal advisory role

Languages

• English: Fluent
