E-commerce Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate E-commerce Manager to oversee our online store operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce best practices, driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage budgets for e-commerce initiatives.
• Research and evaluate new e-commerce technologies and platforms.
• Work closely with customer service to address online customer inquiries.
• Ensure that website content is engaging, accurate, and up-to-date.
• Develop strategies to reduce cart abandonment rates.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Conduct training for staff on e-commerce systems and best practices.
• Assist in the development of brand guidelines and marketing collateral.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field
• MBA or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing

• Adobe Creative Suite
• Email Marketing Tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo)

Languages

• English: Fluent
