We're on the lookout for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Prepare and label medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Contribute to marketing pharmacy services and promotions.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing and data entry.
• Provide advice on over-the-counter medications to customers.
• Ensure adherence to all pharmacy protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy software proficiency
• Understanding of medication regulations

Soft Skills

• Customer service orientation
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with a wider range of clients.
• Previous experience in retail pharmacy: Background in customer-facing pharmacy roles.
