Job Description

As a Payroll Administrator in Durban, you will manage payroll operations, ensuring compliance with South African tax laws and regulations. You will be responsible for processing employee salaries, maintaining payroll records, and handling employee inquiries related to payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Calculate employee deductions, including tax and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Manage the payroll system and ensure proper data input.
  • Prepare monthly and annual payroll reports.
  • Coordinate with the HR department on onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Assist with audits related to payroll processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and payroll regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources or Business Administration
Experience
  • 2+ years in a payroll or HR role
