Employee Development Consultant - Durban - HR Generalist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Employee Development Consultant based in Durban. This role involves designing and implementing training programs to promote employee growth and engagement within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR practices and a passion for developing talent.

Responsibilities

• Establish metrics to measure success of training and development initiatives.
• Communicate with employees regarding available development programs and resources.
• Support career development initiatives by advising employees on training options.
• Contribute to policies related to employee engagement and retention strategies.
• Lead employee surveys to assess satisfaction and learning needs.
• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are well-oriented.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Master's degree in Organizational Development is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in HR or training roles
