We are seeking a skilled Petrochemical Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and optimization of petrochemical processes, ensuring efficiency and sustainability throughout the operation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and implement new technologies that enhance production capabilities. A keen focus on safety and environmental compliance is essential to this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop new methods to improve petrochemical production efficiency.
• Work with various engineering disciplines in project execution.
• Ensure project compliance with local and international safety standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers for necessary materials and equipment.
• Monitor process safety and control systems closely.
• Review and enhance existing engineering designs and practices.
• Conduct training sessions on new processes for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Professional certification in Process Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in petrochemical processes and operations
