Job Description

As a Mining Engineer in our Johannesburg office, your expertise will drive our projects forward. You will be tasked with assessing mineral resources, optimizing extraction processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our goals in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to carry out mining projects.
• Evaluate potential new technologies and processes for mining engineering.
• Participate in risk assessments to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Design, implement, and oversee systems for resource conservation.
• Stay updated on regional geological and environmental changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
• Master's or higher degree recommended

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the mining industry

Certifications
