Stockroom Supervisor

Job Description

As a Stockroom Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the stockroom, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will lead a team that handles shipments and maintains stock levels to support our retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive team environment to improve morale and productivity.
• Ensure all inventory is correctly labelled and stored.
• Conduct regular training sessions on stockroom processes.
• Utilize inventory management software effectively.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the stockroom operations.
• Collaborate with the sales team for promotional stock allocation.
• Ensure strict adherence to company stock policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a stockroom environment

• Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

• Knowledge of eCommerce stock management: Experience in managing stock for online sales.
