Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Art Therapist, where you'll provide therapeutic services through art, music, and movement therapy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing personalized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and fostering a safe and creative environment for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Develop and implement creative arts therapy interventions tailored to each client.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, encouraging collaboration and self-expression among participants.
  • Document treatment progress and modify strategies based on client feedback.
  • Work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatment plans.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and trainings.
  • Promote awareness of arts therapy within the community.
  • Provide consultation and education to families regarding arts therapy methods.
  • Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment where clients feel safe to express themselves.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy methods and make necessary adjustments.
