Job Description

As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing personalized travel recommendations, crafting bespoke itineraries, and ensuring every client's journey is seamless and enjoyable. Your role will involve engaging with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences, making bookings, and providing detailed travel advice.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in travel planning from initial inquiries to finalizing bookings.
• Stay updated on travel regulations, restrictions, and safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional after-sales service, including travel documentation and support.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the best deals and experiences for clients.
• Participate in promotional campaigns and marketing strategies.
• Engage in continual professional development to improve knowledge of travel products.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
• Certificate in Travel and Tourism is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a travel consultancy role or related field

Technical Skills

• GDS Systems (Amadeus, Sabre)
• Travel Insurance Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Sales Skills
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous
