As a Veterinarian at our clinic, you will engage in examinations, vaccinations, and surgeries. Responsibilities

• Perform examinations and diagnose illnesses.
• Administer vaccinations and preventive care.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Conduct surgeries and assist in recovery for surgical patients.
• Communicate with pet owners about their animal's health.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the veterinary support team to ensure optimal care.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
• Stay updated with the latest veterinary practices and advancements.
• Provide emergency care as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Valid veterinary practice license in South Africa

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in veterinary practice

• Clinical Diagnosis

• Communication

Certifications

• Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE)
• Certification in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Emergency Veterinary Care: Experience in handling emergency medical cases with confidence.
• Specialized Training in Dentistry: Certification or experience in veterinary dentistry is a plus.
