Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager at our Port Elizabeth facility, you will oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and a passion for optimizing processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors.
• Manage inventory levels and forecasting to meet customer demands.
• Develop disaster recovery plans for supply chain disruptions.
• Implement technology solutions to streamline supply chain operations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Facilitate communication between suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
• Oversee the implementation of sustainability practices within the supply chain.
• Create training programs for staff to enhance supply chain skills.
• Ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with corporate sustainability goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business
• MBA in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain management roles
