Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Product Designer in Johannesburg. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative design solutions.
• Design user interfaces that prioritize usability and accessibility.
• Support product development teams in creating user-centered products.
• Perform competitor analysis and market research to identify trends.
• Ensure designs adhere to company branding guidelines.
• Mentor junior designers and assist in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or product design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools (InVision, Axure)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with Design Systems: Ability to create and maintain design systems for scalable design outputs.
• Familiarity with Google Material Design: Understanding of Material Design principles for consistent interface design.
