Product Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Product Designer in Johannesburg. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual and visual design on multiple projects.
• Develop user personas and journey maps to guide design processes.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are brought to life accurately.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform design direction.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and design workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI or product design

Technical Skills

• Sketch
• Prototyping Tools (InVision, Axure)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with Design Systems: Ability to create and maintain design systems for scalable design outputs.
• Familiarity with Google Material Design: Understanding of Material Design principles for consistent interface design.
