Job Description

We are seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate law and a passion for helping businesses navigate complex legal landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate tax matters and implications.
• Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on changes in corporate legislation and regulations.
• Prepare and review legal documents and agreements.
• Provide training to clients on corporate compliance matters.
• Lead negotiations with external parties to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent
• Postgraduate degree in Law is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law practice

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of Tax Law: Background in corporate tax law and regulations.
• Previous In-House Counsel Experience: Experience serving as in-house counsel for a corporation.
