Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee daily operations at our premier hotel in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience while managing staff, budgets, and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
  • Enhance guest engagement through staff training and quality assurance programs.
  • Design and implement marketing initiatives to boost occupancy and guest loyalty.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety laws and industry standards.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with local businesses and tourism boards.
  • Respond to guest feedback and take necessary actions to enhance service quality.
  • Utilize performance metrics to drive operational excellence and team efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management
  • MBA or related graduate degree is preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in hotel management or related fields.
