Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will engage with communities, assess needs, and implement interventions to enhance quality of life. You will collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations, offering support to vulnerable individuals and families.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to assess their needs and identify appropriate services.
  • Implement case management strategies for effective service delivery.
  • Work in partnership with other social service agencies.
  • Advocate for policy changes that support vulnerable populations.
  • Facilitate community workshops and support groups.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Stay informed on current issues affecting communities in Port Elizabeth.
  • Contribute to program evaluation and improvement efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Master’s degree in Social Work is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in social work
