Job Description

We're on the hunt for a Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. In this role, you'll provide strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance with legislation while mitigating risks to the company. Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for all legal matters.
  • Review and manage commercial agreements and contracts.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Engage in dispute resolution processes as needed.
  • Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership.
  • Assist in policy development to align with legal standards.
  • Train staff on compliance and legal best practices.
  • Research legal issues and prepare reports for management.

Requirements

Education
  • LLB or related legal degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in law is advantageous
Experience
  • 5 years of legal advisory experience in corporate law
