Inventory Manager

Job Description

Join our team as an Inventory Manager where you will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment, and optimising inventory management processes. We're looking for someone who has a strong grasp of inventory systems and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory forecasts and control strategies to meet operational needs.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as necessary.
• Prepare and present inventory performance metrics to upper management.
• Engage in negotiations with vendors for competitive pricing and contracts.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective inventory management.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints on inventory purchases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• MBA is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or inventory management

Technical Skills

• SAP or other ERP systems
• Forecasting Techniques

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of safety stock calculation: Understanding of how to calculate and maintain safety stock levels.
• Proficiency in Lean methodologies: Experience applying Lean principles in inventory management.
