HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our Cape Town team. This role encompasses a range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR principles and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will ensure the smooth operation of our HR processes and support our commitment to employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Manage employee welfare programs and initiatives.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits and compensation.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbooks.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters.
• Coordinate training and development activities.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in HR Management is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations
