We are actively seeking a passionate Travel Consultant to join our team in Durban. As a Travel Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable travel experiences for our clients. Your expertise in travel planning, along with your keen understanding of clients' needs, will help them achieve their travel goals. Ideal candidates are well-versed in local and international travel regulations, and possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop travel packages that cater to various client demographics.
• Conduct market research to identify popular destinations and trends.
• Assist clients in navigating travel health and safety requirements.
• Participate in networking events to expand supplier contacts.
• Manage a portfolio of clients ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Utilize CRM systems to track client interactions and bookings.
• Coordinate travel logistics for group travel, events, or conferences.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Travel and Tourism or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the travel industry

Technical Skills

• Travel technology tools

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Customer-focused

Certifications

• Certified Travel Associate (CTA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
