Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead L&D initiatives that align with our strategic goals.
• Utilize e-learning platforms for remote training solutions.
• Develop metrics to measure employee engagement and program effectiveness.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders to promote learning opportunities.
• Encourage a feedback loop with employees post-training for continuous improvement.
• Analyze data to report on training outcomes to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree in Education or Human Resources is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in training and development roles

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Certifications

• Certified Learning Professional (CLP)
• Advanced Instructional Design Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
