Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Motor Grader Operator to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for safely operating our motor graders to complete various road and infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully operate motor graders for various road and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep motor graders in top condition.
• Adhere strictly to safety regulations and best practices.
• Assist in grading operations and follow directives from the Site Supervisor.
• Document progress and maintain daily logs of work performed.
• Communicate effectively with the construction team to ensure smooth operations.
• Help train junior operators as required.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations during the operation.
• Work collaboratively with other construction teams to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience operating motor graders and familiarity with other heavy machinery.

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Interpretation

Certifications

• Heavy Machinery Operation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
