Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor who is passionate about the hospitality industry and dedicated to ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will oversee daily hotel operations, manage staff, and collaborate with other departments to meet and exceed guest expectations in our Cape Town location.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise hotel staff and ensure all departments operate cohesively.
  • Review and analyze guest feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing merchandise and inventory control.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement staff development plans.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping to ensure the hotel is in top condition.
  • Help create and maintain budgets, monitoring expenditures.
  • Actively participate in crisis management and emergency procedures.
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment for all staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and service providers.
  • Contribute to hotel marketing strategies and promotional efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is acceptable
  • Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in hotel operations
