Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Legal Advisor to join our Pretoria office. In this role, you will provide legal advice and support to our clients, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for drafting legal documents, negotiating contracts, and representing clients in legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Advise on compliance matters related to company policies and regulations.
• Provide support in audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
• Create and implement legal strategies to mitigate risks.
• Draft policy documents related to legal and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a liaison between the company and external legal entities.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions with senior management.
• Educate clients about legal rights to foster understanding and compliance.
• Prepare reports on legal issues and trends affecting the organization.

Requirements

Education

• LLM or specialized legal qualifications are a plus

Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in legal consulting
