Job Description

As an Intellectual Property Advisor, you will play a vital role in advising clients on the management and protection of their intellectual property rights. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of intellectual property law and experience in providing pragmatic solutions to complex legal issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IP protection strategies for clients.
• Monitor and enforce clients’ IP rights in the market.
• Respond to inquiries from IP offices and other regulatory bodies.
• Conduct training sessions on intellectual property issues for clients.
• Assist in the preparation for IP litigation and mediation.
• Compile reports on IP activities and updates for management.

Requirements

Education

• LLB in Law or equivalent
• Postgraduate diploma in Intellectual Property is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience as an IP advisor or in a similar role

Technical Skills

• IP Strategy Development
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Certified IP Professional (CIPP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with Trademark Registration Processes: Experience with the processes involved in trademark registration.
