The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel on a variety of matters, ensuring compliance while supporting business objectives. Responsibilities

• Offer strategic legal counsel to senior management regarding business strategies.
• Evaluate and improve existing legal processes and documentation.
• Assist in mergers and acquisitions by providing due diligence and legal opinions.
• Monitor changes in legislation that may impact business operations.
• Engage with various departments to ensure comprehensive legal coverage.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of legal transactions.
• Facilitate training sessions to educate employees on compliance matters.
• Conduct regular audits of legal processes and compliance measures.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• MBA or additional legal certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a legal advisory role, preferably in a corporate setting
