Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Jobber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing industry and possess strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills with precision.
• Optimize machining processes to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Assist in the training of new staff on machinery use.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on all produced parts.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement new designs.
• Follow all safety guidelines to prevent workplace accidents.
• Update machinery settings as per production requirements.
• Provide feedback on machine performance and suggest improvements.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss workflows and processes.

Requirements

Education

• N3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Trade qualification in related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a machinist role

Languages

• English: Fluent
