Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to enhance our pharmacy team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves patient counseling, managing prescription medications, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the dispensing of medications and ensure proper storage.
• Educate patients about chronic diseases and medication adherence.
• Supervise pharmacy operations to maintain high standards of service.
• Participate in health promotion activities in the community.
• Assist in managing pharmacy finances and budgeting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust medications as necessary.

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment: Background in retail pharmacy operations is advantageous.
