We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Durban-based team. The ideal candidate will leverage their design skills to engineer mechanical systems that meet precise specifications. The role involves collaborating closely with production teams and engaging in troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure optimal product performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion for mechanical systems.
• Utilize CAD software for design and modelling.
• Integrate feedback from prototyping into final designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of materials.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
• Develop detailed specifications and reports for projects.
• Participate in design reviews and presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design

Technical Skills

• SolidWorks

Languages

• English: Fluent
